Blogging like never before
It used to be when I thought of something about which to post, I had to sit at the computer or stop what I was doing on my laptop to post. Those days are over.
Thanks to the new iPhone 3G and the Typepad application I can post anywhere and anytime.
Take now for example. I have half a dozen books open on the floor as I work on a Fifth Circuit brief. My laptop has Westlaw open as well as my brief draft. The Olympics are on in the background as Phelps goes for gold number four, or is it ten?. I've downloaded the newly released Kenny Chesney and I'm playing it on my iPhone.
But instead of posting something via my MacBook Pro, which my wife has confiscated at this time, I turn to the iPhone.
Think of the possibilities? Blog during a trial. Probably not the trial you are trying though. Blog during your commute. Although not if you're driving. Blog while talking to a client, or a judge. Oh the possibilities.
Gotta love technology.
Shawn,
If you can blog from the IPhone then I greatly admire your Iphone typing ability.
I can barely get through a text message. The Iphone is a great tool. But writing a long thoughtful blog post would be a challenge.

I just got my 3G yesterday. Wonder if there's an iPhone application for Moveable Type.

RG, you know, at first, it seemed like it would be difficult to type on the iPhone with any kind of success. But honestly, with the typing software that figures out what you're trying to type, you can actually go through it pretty quickly. I typed this post in about three or four minutes I guess.
Todd, check out the App Store to see what is available. I think the Typepad app was in the productivity section.

Hi, I'm the Mobile Product Manager at Six Apart, and very glad you like our application. FYI, TypePad for iPhone used to be in the Productivity section, but it's now available in the Social Networking one. Also, feel free to contact me directly shall you have any question/comment. Best regards. Stef

You and Mark Bennett, Texas blogger's, apparently both got the new I-Phone and blogging software about the same time and both of you are now 24/7 bloggers. Have fun. Anything typed goes into the blogosphere eternal memory files of space.
I have been blogging about testilying and report-i-lying on my blog.
